It's rare that I am able to wake up feeling as well rested as I was at 6:30, but nevertheless, I felt great. It was an absolutely gorgeous spring morning, with birds chirping softly as the sun began peeking through the blinds and a light breeze running through the window into my room. I immediately shut off the music coming from my alarm clock, hoping not to wake up Tess, who for whatever reason preferred to leave her sleep schedule unaltered, despite the fact that she can easily fit a full nights sleep in a fraction of a millisecond.

St. Cyprian of Antioch’s Academy for Supernaturally Augmented Individuals (or Cyprian Academy for short) is one of the most important educational institutions in the world. Kim was not happy, not happy at all. Twenty four, short and skinny, and with an English degree that only got her a crappy job as a barista, her boyfriend through college, Tim,  had dumped her the evening before.

He lived with 2 other students, a boy named Andrew, and a girl named Lizzie. All 3 of them were typical “losers”.
